Yummy Treats

Luke and Levi love to help in the kitchen......well, I mean EAT as they go in the kitchen!!! I certainly do not know where that behavior has been modeled, mmm mm peanut butter
I stole this idea from Kaitlyn Ellis........2 vanilla wafers with a good spoonful of peanut butter to hold them together, then stick the craft stick in the middle, dunk in chocolate almond bark, lay on wax paper, sprinkle on the Reeses Pieces and let harden. soooooooooo cute and yummy

Luke took our little creations for snack time at school! Kids are so fun.

Hey Patti! Long, long time no see! I was glad to see you on Hollie's blog and I hope I can add you to my list of friends. Those treats look fun! I might have to try that for my visiting teaching Friday. It was really good to see what you're up to.

Looks like a lot of fun making them. I like the Reeses idea instead of M&M's... yummmyyy - anything with chocolate and peanut butter is after my own heart!

I tired something similar with carmel and chocolate, but PB sounds much easier. I will have to try it. Yum.

Okay, Patti... I tried these treats today and they didn't turn out nearly as cute as yours. Did you use Reeses pieces minis? And do you use plain PB? I only buy chunky, so I used PB flavored chocolate and that worked like a charm. Oh, by the way, you look like a teenager in that picture. Every time I see it I think, "who is that girl?" Way to look so young!

These look so delicious! I will have to try it out. Thanks.

I hope you don't mind but I have got to brag about your son for a sec. Sacrament meeting this last Sunday a "Young Man" was ordained into the Aaronic Priesthood. After he was sustained the Bishop gave him some time to bear his testimony. I thought about Josh. I remember how impressed I was when he bore his testimony about receiving the priesthood. I felt the spirit so strong that day! I remember thinking that I hope I can raise my son to gain a testimony like Josh. I truly admire Josh. I appreciate the influence that he had on me and Travis. You and Keith are raising such wonderful kids. I know that Travis misses Josh and all the boys!

I really hope you don't mind that I am saying this on your blog. Have a great day!!
